"Garden of Eden" is a scuba diving resort located at Sabang Beach , Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines which is about 120 km. South of Manila. It has an area of more or less 9,000 square meters, with 40 rooms available, including Nipa hut styled Bungalows which matches closer with the Tropics and Nature. It has also a PUB that serve drinks, exotic Cocktails, Breakfast, Snacks and Finger Foods while watching Sport events and movies on the Cable TV..

And since our priority is to provide you with a scuba diving vacation without stress, utmost convenience and personalized service, we also arrange Airport pick-up then transfer to the Resort and return. Aside from that, assist you in the reconfirmation of your return flight if necessary...

Since both the Resort and the scuba diving school Cocktail Divers are sister companies, this guarantees you a no hassle vacation since basically all services are under one roof. Aside from diving, parties, day trips, island hopping, and trekking can be organized too at the Resort.

In keeping with the theme of the Resort (as the name suggests, Garden of Eden), native fruit trees, orchids and tropical plants are being planted throughout the more or less one hectare grounds. The idea is that guests can enjoy fresh fruits from the fruit trees surrounding the property. Mango, banana, papaya, lemon, local oranges and coconuts are already sprouting up all over the property. Accommodations:

The Resort has three different types of rooms. We have De Luxe Fan Room Bungalows, Aircon rooms and Aircon plus. The Pub is serving breakfast, local and international cuisine for inhouse guests and walk-in guests alike where you can watch sport events and movies on our cable TV while drinking draft beer or exotic cocktails.

De Luxe Fan Room Bungalow
is our typical Philippine style nipa-hut bungalow with new furniture's, European style bathroom (cold shower) covered with tiles and amenities. The bed, living set, clothes closet and table are all made of bamboo with rattan. The interior has the ambience of a modern living but the exterior matches closer with the tropics and nature. The exterior wall finish has bamboo slots and sawali ( a local material similar to bamboo), so as the railings of the veranda. (Also an electric fan room but with refrigeration to cool your minibar and quencher).

Aircon Rooms
for people who cannot withstand the tropical temperatures and the humidity, we have aircon rooms available for you. Basically it has the amenities and facilities of the De Luxe rooms but with aircon and hot water supply ( water heaters ), and strategically located at the hilltop were you have a nice view of the Batangas Bay and Verde Strait.

Facilities:

The dive shop with it's seven dive boats can take care about 70 divers. If you want to have a day-off from diving you could discover the hinterlands of Mindoro on your own by hiring our 4-Wheel drive McArthur type owner Jeep and a variety of other activities see daily excursions. You can take a sunbathe or relax on our lounge chairs at our pool infront of the new office building, while having a chat with fellow divers or just enjoy the Scenery of Sabang bay.

Our diving package includes all transfers in the philippines, unlimited diving and accommodation.

Upon your arrival in Manila COCKTAIL DIVERS will pick you up at the airport. The transfer from the airport to the dive center on Mindoro Island, Sabang Beach, will be by air-con car and boat ( 2 hour car drive + 1 hour boat ride ).

The dive center Cocktail Divers/Garden of Eden Resort is located at Sabang Beach in near proximity to Puerto Galera, directly at the sea. Our scuba diving school is equipped with 20 sets of Scuba Pro equipment and 4 Bauer "Mariner" compressors. In addition we offer services such as equipment maintenance, sale of basic dive equipment and personalized digital underwater video. With a 20 minute boat ride we visit over 29 different dive sites. We organize on a regular basis diving day trips to nearby islands, such as Verde Island, Bonito Island and others with the possibility of a beach BBQ. Located only a few meters out of our dive center is our beautiful house reef with it's four wrecks and a wide variety of marine life.
